Ekiden Carnival !

今日は荒川で駅伝カーニバルでした。なんと1万人が参加。駅から会場まで人人人の洪水。

朝の9時から第一走者が走り始め、私は10時半こ ろにタスキを受け取りました。前走者の人が5キロ20分の驚異的なペースで走ってきたので、会社の参加チーム４チームの中で一位でタスキが回ってくることに。。

初めて大勢の人と走ったので、かなりペースを惑わされました。。最初の1キロをかなり飛ばしヘロヘロ。あまりの暑さと乾燥に給水しようと思いまし たが、やはり走りながら飲むのはしんどかった。。口に含む程度しか無理でした。

後半は折り返しのコースだったので、なんとなく残りの距離 も分かり、つらかったけど結構すぐ終わった感じでした。タイムは細かい所までは見れなかったけど、18分台前半でした。まあまあかな。。お陰で一位は死守 しました。

いつもジムで走っているので、暑さと乾燥でここまで体力を持っていかれると思わなかった。。今ちょっと日射病みたいになってま す。しかも砂埃がひどくて今アレルギーでくしゃみと鼻水がすごいことに。。
弱い。。

暑いってそれだけで疲れますね。。
走っても走っても前に進んでいない感じがしました。フルマラソンはまだまだ先かなー。。

Tommorow is the day!!

いよいよ明日が駅伝の本番です。会社の残業練習には結局一回も参加できませんでしたが、一人コソコソ練習して早1ヶ月。会社からおそろいのTシャツが支給されてご機嫌です。

 Tomorrow is finally the day! the marathon ! I could not practice with my coworkers after all..but I DID a secret training on my own...hehehe..

このかわいいTシャツ、表もおんなじロゴ＋会社名で、ゼッケンをつけても隠れないデザインになってます。 なんとレンタル制。 終わったら会社に返却です。よかった。。一回目に着る人になれて。。

I am so happy that I got this cute T shirts with my company logo and name.
The front design is almost same, so we can see these logo and name when even we put our numbers on. The company rented this shirts for Christ's sake, so we have to return this..
I am also so happy that this shirts is bland new and I am a first person to wear it.

明日はなんと朝の5時半起き。そこがまず大きな難関ですね。早くねよ～。怪我なく終わろ～。

Tomorrow, I have to get up at 5:30. That is the biggest problem..

Adiós iPod Photo...

iPod nano買いました。色は悩んだけどappleストア限定の黄色。iPodは白！ってきめてたんだけどそもそもnanoには白ないし、黒だと他の小物とかぶりすぎるのでこの色にしました。
これで愛用のiPod photoともお別れです。。（psp買った時も同じこと書いたけど。。）

I finally got a G5 iPod nano. The yellow one which we can purchase only in apple store. I have always determined that iPod should be White, but there is no white version available for G5 iPod nano. I like this yellow one tough.
It is really time to say goodbye to iPod photo this time. Of course I remember I already wrote some emotional comments to iPod photo when I bought PSP last year.

pspは動画再生マシーンとしては優れものですが、音楽プレイヤーとしてはやっぱりイマイチ。いちいち電源いれるのもめんどくさいし、かばんに入れておくとちょっとした拍子にLRボタンが押されてまた最初から同じ曲が何回もながれたりして、結局音楽を聴くのは断念しました。
ということでひつこくiPod photoを使っていたのですが。。今度こそ本当のお別れ。。

PSP is the greatest gadgets to play game and watch videos, but not for music player.
It takes a while to show up menu after turning it on, and in my bag, the LR buttons accidently are pushed and it plays same songs over and over agian.
so I still have used this lovely old iPod photo..But now it is the moment to say goodbye.

久しぶりにappleの新商品を使ってみましたが、このnanoはすごく便利です。軽いし、画像も鮮やかだし、ラジオも聞けるし走行距離やカロリーもだしてくれるので、最近、新米joggerとなった私にピッタリ。
買うかどうしようか悩んだけど買ってよかったー。

This iPod nano is the coolest one ever. Very light and vivid color monitor. I can also listen to radio and use as a pedometer. it perfectly fits my life style. (I recent start jogging...)

こちらはこれで引退となるiPod photo.大丈夫。。捨てたりしないよ。。
長い間お世話になったので思い出が走馬灯のように蘇ります。
これを買った時、はじめてiPodがカラーになったんだよなー。それだけで感動したもの。まだ学生だったのでこれを買うのは一代決意でした。
当時NYではiPod狩りなるものが流行っていてiPodを聞いていると盗むために襲われることもあるので、あの白いイアホンはするな、とか本気でニュースで流れてました。なつかすい。。

We all were so excited that iPod had a color monitor.
I was a still student, so iPod was a luxury and buying this was needed a biggest decision.
in NY at that time, people tried to attack people who listened music with iPod to steal , so some news suggested us not to use that White earphone just in case. what a great advice..

Jogging!!

5月に駅伝に出ることになりました。走行区間は3kmです。
外で走るのはほぼ部活以来。。チームに迷惑をかけないためにも練習しようと思い、ジョギングはじめました。

昨日突然思い立って、仕事から帰った深夜からジョギングしてみたのですが 、フットサル用の重くて大きめのシューズでもうヘトヘト・・。
こんなことではいかん！と思って外走り用のシュー ズ買ってきました。
モデルはNew BalanceのWR828。
これで走るぞ～。

ついでにjognoteもつけ始めてみました。家の近くのお勧めジョギングコースも出ていてなかなか便利です。記録好きの私にいいかも。
外に出ればジョガーにすれ違う今日このごろ。昨日は、どこ走ったらいいんだろ。。と真夜中に途方にくれましたが、みんなこういうのみて決めてるのかなー。

会社でも本格的な練習が始まっていて、毎週、会社-皇居1周 - 会社の10kmを平日から走っているのですが、私はそんな距離怖すぎてまだ走れていません。。
これから練習の練習を始めて、来週はこの地獄の練習に参加するぞー！

Twitter 復活！/ I start using Twitter again !

ひさしぶりに Twitter復活しました。
前回のつぶやきは北京オリンピックについて。。。
北島金メダル～って。。。もうバンクーバーオリンピックもおわってるのに。。ほとんど２年近いですね。
あの時は使い方とおもしろさがいまいちよく分からなかったけど、今回久々にログインしてみてとても使いやすくなっててびっくり。
ここでボソボソつぶやいてみようと思います。
blog人口はどんどん減って行ってるという噂を聞きました。
blogの更新もがんばろー。

Vancouver Olympic has just finished.

Almost two years have passed..Time goes by.

Happy New Year 2010

遅くなりましたが明けましておめでとうございます。
今年は長い休みが取れたので、まだ正月気分が抜けません。もう既に旅行に行きたくなっています。
去年はあっという間に１年が過ぎてしまいました。後半は本当に毎日仕事漬け。。。
でもこの不景気にもかかわらず大忙しなのはありがたいですね。



六本木ミッドタウンにダイヤブロックで作られたトラが飾ってありました。
足元には子トラや鏡餅や獅子舞が。
2010個のブロックで作られているそうです。

今年もいい年になりますように。

Verner Panton

東京オペラシティで開かれているVerner Panton展に行ってきました。
Vernerはデンマーク生まれの建築家。ですが建造物を手がけたことはなく、主に家具などのインテリアデザインを作品として残しています。

クラフトマンシップが重要視され木材を使うのが伝統とされるデンマークにおいて、初めてスティールやプラスチックを使って家具のデザインを試みた人物です。
「平凡は嫌い」という彼の言葉らしく、彼の作品は原色を使った非日常そのものでした。

この展示会のテーマは1970年代の「未来のインテリア」。
当時に2001年を想像して作られたデザインですが、今の時代からみるとレトロと典型的な近未来像が融合した不思議空間でした。

展示風景はこちら。
大量の丸い電気が壁に平行に飾られているのが彼の自宅だそうです。なかなかきれてます。
彼の自宅や洞窟空間も再現され、実際にふれてみることができます。一見の価値あり。非常に楽しい展示会でした。

summer sonic 09

8/7にSummer Sonic行ってきました。
おおとりはMY CHEMICAL ROMANCEやNINE INCH NAILSですが、私はPheonixとAphexTwinとkyte 目当てでいきました。
kyteは前のほうで見れましたが残念ながら全体的に音響が悪く、CDのほうがよかったかな。。という感じ。
初めてvocalを見ましたが、ちっさくてかわいかったです。
映画Gummoのあの男の子を思い出しました。。


pheonixは初めて曲を聴き、本人たちをみるというビギナーっプリでしたが迫力のあるライブで盛り上がりました。vocalの方はソフィアコッポラの旦那さんらしいです。なかなかのイケめんなフランス人でした。

しかしながら、私が今年のsummer sonicに来てよかったと心から思ったのは、食事スペースにて行われたDJダイノジのLIVEを見れたことです。
一曲めがノリピーだったあたりから私のツボのどストライクでした。
２時間まったくの休みなく踊り続け、(Air ギターもちょっとやってたけど、最後は単なる切れのあるダンスおよびAir シンセサイザー＋Airトランペット)あまりの事に観客も信者のように踊り来るっておりました。
終いにはゲストで来ていた響のミツコも踊り狂い、大変な祭りとなりました。

そのときの奇跡の盛り上がり





この宗教的イベントがあってから見たAphexTwinがいまひとつに感じられるほど。。
ちょっとAphex Twinの年齢を気にしてしまった私でした。

新しいpcが来てから1週間。font入れたり、software入れたり、徐々に使い慣れてきました。
Since I got the new vaio last week, I have tried to make comfortable environment in this.....



色はチタングレー。ホントはblackがよかったけどtype fにはなぜかblackがない。brownかwhiteかこの色のみなのです。渋い色だったのでこれにしてみました。でも結果的にかなり気に入ってます。中を開いたときのボードの湾曲とかがかっこいいのです。

I chose titan gray from the choice of three colors , brown, white, and this. I really am into the beautiful curvy design inside of Vaio. really cool.


机においてみました。なかなかいいじゃない。
I put it on my desk next to my Macs. seems lovely.




こちらは10年前のvaio。偶然にもなんか同じような色。。
いろいろあったWindows Meをつんでおります。今までありがとう。無事リサイクルへと出しました。

This is Vaio which I bought 10 years ago.. the color was happened to be similar one.
it contains OS Windows ME, which we can talk so many THINGS about this..
I sent it to the recycle shop finally. Thank you previous Vaio.

cant wait coming in 16th....

I am so stoked.. really... since my lovely G5 started making weird noise , and my another lovely one, powerbook is getting old.

I will plan to have adobe web premium in this machine!!!!

ついにPC買っちゃいましたっ。今有る２台のMacちゃんもなんだかおかしな音を立て始め、もう古いし、仕事場PCだし。PCほしかったのですっ！
モノはVaio Type F owner made. memory は8Gb, プロセッサーは9900のものを積んでみました。今有るノートの中でこのスペックは最強の部類になりそうです。

10年ぶりのvaio。早く来ないかなー。。。

これにadobe suit入れる予定です。ドキドキ

beach animal

Theo JansenのBeach Animal達が日比谷パティオに現れました。
元物理学者でありながら突然画家を目指した異色の経歴をもつartistの作品たちです。
エンジンなどは一切使わず動力はすべて空気。触覚を使うことで自分で方向転換も止まったりもできるのです。海岸を走ることを想定しているので蹄がついていたりもします。
寿命は約２－３年ほど。動けなくなった時点で死んだとみなされます。

those beach animals, which were created by Theo Jansen emerged in Hibiya patio in Aip 2009.
Theo's career is very unique. he used to be a physicist, but he suddenly quit his position and became a artist.
His works are not used any electronic power or engine at all. the kinetic energy for those objects is just air. These animals are available to stop or even to turn around by their antenna.

今回は室内での展示なので外ほどダイナミックには動いていませんでしたが、動いているBeachAnimalはナウシカのオウムを思い出しました。

These animals reminds me of my favorite animator Hayao MIyazaki world.

zingaro

騎馬スペクタクル　ジンカロ見に行ってきました。
様は馬を使ったパフォーマンスショーなのです。
I went to see the spectacle mounted exhibition Zingaro.
French performers wearing gypsy costume, demonstrated acrobatic horse back riding.
I was so existed during this show ! The way them riding the horse was unbelievable .
It is just natural that they rode the horse standing or laing down on saddle. They even skipped the rope or hand standing.
They did all these tricks very easily, but I noticed that they all mastered the fundamental.

ジプシーをテーマにアクロバットな乗馬術を披露してくれるのですが、久しぶりに馬を見てドキドキしてきました。マジで乗ってる人が上手い！！飛び乗り、立ち乗りは当たり前。馬の横にぶら下がって回転したり、逆立ちしたり着ぐるみ着て乗ったりとなんでもあり。
いとも簡単にやっていましたが、基本がしっかり出来てからこその技というのがよくわかりました。（当たり前ですが。。）
Actually I learned horse back riding in elementary school , and I learned that all about horse riding is how much your horse trust and obey you.
when your horse trust you, horse round his/her neck and raising legs higher walking.
というのも私は小学校から中学校まで地元で乗馬を習っていたのですが、馬というのはまず跨いで歩き始めた瞬間に馬を上手くコントロール出来ているかが分かってしまうのです。
上手く操れている馬は首が湾曲にまがり足を高くあげて歩きます。

ジンガロでは全ての馬がこのようにあるってました。すごい。。
私の乗馬クラブは競馬馬あがりの凶暴馬ばかりだったので毎日大きなフォークをもって戦っておりました。回し蹴りをくらって吹き飛ばされたこともありました。そんなこと懐かしく思い出したジンガロ体験でした。
久しぶりに馬の絵かいてみました。

In Zingaro, all horses walked like the pic above. Amazing. it usually takes 4-5 years to just have horse walked this way.
In my horse club, all the horses were so aggressive because they allused to be racehorses. and of course they did not walk this way when I rode them.

Death Cab Live

2/14に念願のDeath Cabライブに行ってきました。
なぜかチケットもすんなり取れました。
長年願ったライブでした。長かった。
今回はNew AlbumのNarrow Stairsのライブでしたが、デビュー曲から最新曲までかなりの数歌ってくれました。
ボーカルのGibbardさんが痩せててイケメンになってたのに驚きました。
ついにtransatlanticismが聞けたーーっ！！

I finally finally went to Death Cab concert, which I have been waiting for them coming to Japan for long long time.
Since they are not that popular here compared to US or Europe, I could get the ticket without no hassle. hew.
this Live is for thier new album Narrow Stairs, they played lots of their numbers, from their debut song to thiner newst one. I almost cried.
I finally listend lived Transatlanticism...

exhibition -finding home

先週、知人のk君のphoto exhibitionに行ってきました。オシャレなオーガニックカフェを利用しての展示でしたが、そこまで広くない店内がお洒落系の人々でごった返しておりました。
あまりの人の多さにゆっくり写真が見れたのは閉店直前でしたが、k君らしい優しい写真でした。今まではNYで撮影していた写真を見慣れていたので日本の風景にとけ込んでいる被写体は私に取っては結構新鮮でした。
写真の質は言うまでもないのですが私が仕事をしつつ暗室に通いつめてこうして展示会を開いているk君はすごいと思います。本当にやりたい事だから頑張れるんですね。。
私もがんばろーー。

Last week, I went to my friend "K"'s photo exhibition held in a organic cafe .
Because there were a lot of lot of people inside of cafe, I could barely move ...

I finally look the pictures right before the cafe was closed.
All photos showed his genuine feeling toward his models like his old works, but I realized location where he shot were all in Tokyo. The part was very fresh to me. but I felt that Tokyo matched his project "finding home" more properly since the models and himself all looked that they tried to find home.

And, I really respect his energy and passion that he had put to this project although he had a full time job in daytime.

thank him to give me some motivation !

obama administration

Barack Obama became a president of United States on Tuesday.
Everytime I saw him speaking, I can not stop feelimg expecting something good happened to the world without any reasons.. since Bush administration was too bad. He was almost a joke.
I just believe that United States would reconstruct the country soon..
bye bye Bush. It has not been fun to know you.
